How to Schedule Your First Appointment
- Fill out the Client Application Form . You must do this before we will contact you. Then, please wait for a counselor to contact you.
- If you are in crisis, please do not wait, but contact the emergency mental health services in your area, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room for help.
- Your counselor will contact you via email and schedule an intake interview with you.
- You and your counselor will agree on the time and date of your intake interview (and any further appointments), and then your counselor will book your first appointment on our scheduling calendar. You will receive notifications of your appointments, but you cannot book your own appt—your counselor must do that for you.
- When we agree to schedule an initial appointment with you, it does not constitute an agreement to continue. We may find that we are unable to provide the services you need, and we may refer you to another provider/agency.
- You will receive a text and email confirmation, and another notification 24 hours before your appointment.
- Your counselor will send you a Zoom meeting link (url) that you will click on at the time of your appointment. You will then be in the “waiting room.” Your counselor will bring you into the meeting once he or she is ready.
- Your counselor will contact you after the initial intake interview, and let you know if we can continue to provide counseling services to you.
- If you would like to book a particular time(s) in the future, or change your appointment, you will need to email or text your counselor directly. Your counselor will always book your appointment for you
- Following each appointment, your counselor will ask you to complete our brief Client Appointment Log. It provides us with immediate feedback regarding your level of satisfaction with our services.
